Brittany Berkey
Brittany is an owner and a founding partner of DBMA Family Law Group. She was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. She graduated cum laude from the University of Oregon before receiving her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Her first job out of law school was as a trial lawyer prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases in the Bronx Family Court in New York City. After returning to Oregon, she worked as an AmeriCorps attorney at Legal Aid Services of Oregon exclusively representing survivors of domestic violence. Upon completion of her AmeriCorps service, she joined St. Andrew Legal Clinic and spent nearly a decade representing low-income Portlanders in a variety of family law matters including frequent representation of children. In 2013, Brittany established Berkey Miltenberger LLC with an eye towards serving a broader community and expanding the scope of her practice. With DBMA Family Law Group, she looks forward to offering clients an even greater breadth of experience and the benefit of informed perspectives honed through collaboration with the entire DBMA team.
